What Your Future with Us Will Look Like

Perform a literature review and benchmark of sealing materials, sealing concepts, and relevant industry standards.
Analyze customer requirements and automotive reliability specifications related to sealing systems.
Design, plan, and conduct laboratory experiments for sealants and sealing materials.
Prepare and manufacture test specimens.
Execute material testing, including: Adhesion testing, Environmental and humidity testing, Thermal cycling tests and Chemical resistance evaluations
Evaluate material aging and degradation mechanisms.
Analyze test data using statistical and engineering methods.
Identify failure modes and root causes.
Compare different sealing technologies and material systems.
Develop and validate optimized sealing concepts.

What You Need to Join Us for a Future with Us

You are a bachelor's or master's student majoring in materials science, polymer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of polymers elastomers, adhesives, or sealing materials.
Understanding of material characterization and testing methods.
Interest in reliability and durability testing.
First experience with data analysis and statistical evaluation.
Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for laboratory work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good command of English.
German language skills are an advantage.
