What Your Future with Us Will Look Like
- Perform a literature review and benchmark of sealing materials, sealing concepts, and relevant industry standards.
- Analyze customer requirements and automotive reliability specifications related to sealing systems.
- Design, plan, and conduct laboratory experiments for sealants and sealing materials.
- Prepare and manufacture test specimens.
- Execute material testing, including: Adhesion testing, Environmental and humidity testing, Thermal cycling tests and Chemical resistance evaluations
- Evaluate material aging and degradation mechanisms.
- Analyze test data using statistical and engineering methods.
- Identify failure modes and root causes.
- Compare different sealing technologies and material systems.
- Develop and validate optimized sealing concepts.
What You Need to Join Us for a Future with Us
- You are a bachelor's or master's student majoring in materials science, polymer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of polymers elastomers, adhesives, or sealing materials.
- Understanding of material characterization and testing methods.
- Interest in reliability and durability testing.
- First experience with data analysis and statistical evaluation.
- Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for laboratory work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- German language skills are an advantage.
