How your future with us will take shape
- You develop electric drive systems at overall product level and shape the interaction between the electric motor, inverter, transmission, and other components.
- You analyze customer requirements, derive system requirements, and ensure their consistent allocation across the relevant subsystems.
- You assess system architectures and technical concepts in terms of performance, efficiency, cost, packaging, thermal behavior, NVH, service life, and safety.
- You coordinate mechanical, electrical, and functional interfaces and support the integration of the subsystems into the complete eDrive system.
- You develop alternative technical solutions, conduct system-level trade-off assessments, and prepare well-founded concept decisions.
- You coordinate technical collaboration with internal specialist departments, customers, suppliers, and development partners.
- You support acquisition activities, root-cause analyses, verification and validation, as well as the development of methods and competencies in eDrive system development.
What you bring to build a future with us
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Experience in developing complex technical systems, components, or functions, ideally in automotive powertrains or electromobility.
- Broad technical understanding and the ability to identify, structure, and assess interactions across disciplinary boundaries.
- Knowledge of or practical experience in transmission development or transmission design is desirable.
- A structured, analytical, and independent approach to work, combined with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Confident communication across different technical disciplines and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
- Very good command of English; German language skills are an advantage.
